Very Nice; thanks for sharing this. I've seen some of these picture sleeves for The Marvelettes' singles that were released around the world but most of them I'm seeing here for the first time.

The Darnells has to be the strangest one! Obviously, they had no "group" which they could picture on the cover, so instead they chose a couple romance comic type drawings, with [[naturally) white folks depicted! Don't you wonder how these choices ever got made?

To me the biggest surprise is the number of photo shoots that must have been required for all of these. You would think that the cover photo for any given album would be used universally for that album's 45 releases.

I'm happy to say I have been able to get my hands on some of these sleeves! My favorite is the one for Don't Mess With Bill that shows the group in a live performance. I've never seen that photo before. The ladies look so classy and beautiful!

So on this discography, what are the monetary values? The Darnells' sleeve shows a value of 200 something. I can't imagine it would be pounds, but...unsure of the designation shown.

Yikes...that’s nearly as much I think. 200 Euros for the Darnells single. Well it obviously is a rare item but I can’t imagine someone would pay that much for it!
