    Al Kaline died

    Sad Sad Detroit news.

As a young baseball fan in the late fifties & decade of sixties I always enjoyed seeing him play right field at Fenway Park. He was a nice person. If there was a break in the action, he would come over to the stands & talk to us.

Sad to see one of my baseball idols pass on. His long time career as a Detroit Tiger was an inspiration. A real class act .

One of my boyhood heroes! He was one of my baseball idols too. I'll never forget him or the Tigers in the '68 Series. Rest in peace Al. Thanks man

Being a big baseball fan and growing up in the 60's, I remember Al, Norm Cash and Rocky Colavito very well. Sad to hear that Mr. Kaline died.
