    Lyn Collins “Ain’t No Sunshine”

Truly one of my favorite covers of this Withers classic. Lyn was so underrated and under appreciated:

I do love Lyn, quite a sui generis talent and we here should celebrate her music more.

I met Lyn Collins & saw her many times with the James Brown Show. She really was a nice person & appreciated her fans. She certainly did justice to "Ain't No Sunshine" and could really "get down" with the funk stuff too. "Rock Me Again, Again & Again" is one of my faves.

You can say that 10 more times and it wouldn't be an overstatement. More than any of
the other of JB's soul sisters, and I loved Marva Whitney, Lyn just got to me. Thankfully
she's been well appreciated on youtube over the years....

Oh yea, Rock Me Again and Again and Again still...rocks...
