With all due respect, that’s not accurate.
Diana Ross’ ‘Love Hangover 2020’ Secures #1 Billboard Breakout Within Days Of Release
January 27, 2020
Adding to her list of recent #1 charting “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough 2017,” “I’m Coming Out / Upside Down 2018,” and “The Boss 2019” remixes, Diana Ross returns to contemporary club culture with “Love Hangover 2020” that secures the #1 Breakout position on this week’s Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
Originally released in 1976, “Love Hangover” was a #1 Pop, R&B and Dance charting single some 35 years ago and the current revamp – courtesy of Motown / Universal Music – has, once again, been remixed by Ross’ frequent collaborator and heavyweight producer, Eric Kupper.
Watch this space for up-to-the-minute news regarding “Love Hangover 2020” and until then listen to the original version below.

Not eager to hear it. His other remixes were mediocre. He doesn't seem to get Ross or understand what made the songs special. He just underpins every track with that same, monotonous beat. No drama, no peaks, no valleys, no ebb and flow. It may hit No. 1 on the club play chart but if it is unremarkable and not memorable what does it matter.
An official release of the Tom Moulton extended mix of "Love Hangover" would be welcome.
I heard the first part of the new mix of the "Love Hangover" Diana Ross - 2020 remix by Eric Kruper and it's a winner! The faster bass line is definitely going to be a Number 1 Dance Hit! She should release this mix on her new CD! BRAVO!
I am surprised they haven't released the moulton remix.
Thought it was a definite thing.
Here are all the new mixes:

Interesting but the original is still THE version for me.
Love the 89 mix....
Thx for posting the info
They've taken the drunkenness out of the song and chopped and sped up Diana's delivery so much that the song's lost its sweet hangover essence so its become more like a meth induced frenzy.

that is a perfect way to describe the original... drunkenness.
had they left the drunkenness in, it would not be a new version. Also, they sped up her voice without making her sound like a chipmunk as she did years ago on the 12” Supremes disco mix. It must be the new technology of today.
Miss Ross!!currently in Billboard’s top 40!!!
Love Hangover 2020
I'm sure it will be at #1 by Diana's b day and I'm sure Universal will have nothing for us again
So where is it at now?
The Billboard Charts are no longer available to the public for free like they used to be.
I wonder if it will ever make it to Itunes or somewhere else where it can be downloaded.
Usually by the time it reaches #1 it has been available on iTunes
#25 for week 2 on Dance Chart
Have to say that of the last four remixes this is my least favourite.
You can DL all of the past four singles [[all mixes) directly on this site. The DL Icon is to the right of the track 🙂

Up from #25 to #15 in its 3rd week on Billboard Dance Club Chart.
Another #1 on the way?
That would be nice! While not indicative of retail sales it's great to see Diana's music continue to be celebrated by new generations. There have been 2 Elvis remixes which also became 'new' hits decades later; are there any other artists who have experienced this? The impressive thing about Diana's dance chart hits is that they are now covering a 1-year span.
Now her 4th consecutive top 10 hit as Love Hangover jumps from 15-9 in its fourth week on the Billboard Dance/ Club Chart.
awesome! I hope it gets to the top!
Almost certainly will get to #1
I’m pretty sure that the Billboard dance chart is bought and paid for by the labels and management companies! When I used to report to them labels would send me $$$ or a gold award for reporting songs #1.
The new Diana Ross " Love Hangover " remix is a disco classic!
I don't think you can read Billboard for free anymore.
Anybody know what number it is now?
Just a 3 place climb to #6 this week.
#6. Cool beans..... Will be #1 soon
Up a further 2 places to #4.
Has slowed down a bit - can it make #1?
