    Diana’s Billboard stats for the 2000’s [[?)

As we close out the second decade of the 2000’s. It would be interesting to know Diana’s chart positions on Billboard. Does anyone have a list of Diana’s Billboard chart stats for the 2000’s so far? All charts, top albums, Jazz, dance, holiday, R&B/Hip-Hop, adult contemporary, etc.

Don’t forget in 2018 her “Diamond Diana Legacy collection” went to #5 on Billboards top album sales charts. 2007 her “I love you”album hit #32 on Billboards top album charts. And don’t forget that the album “Blue” hit #2 on Billboards top Jazz Charts. And yes the 3 #1 dance songs in 2018 and 2019. And in 2006 she had “I’ve got a crush on you” with Rod Stewart that hit #19 on Billboards top 100.

Good recap, and 'thanks for the memories'! My initial thought was, well, probably no BB representation, then I recalled Blue, then the dance remixes, then DD . ... so all in all a nice chart representation for our Miss Ross!

Diane's last solo hit was during the Jimmy Carter Administration. Her last hit period was during Reagan's 1st Term!

Maybe Diane can get a hit with her new CD this year. The one her kids are making for her. At least that way, she can say that she got a hit this century. I don't know, it's going to be tough since her last ones were in 1980-81, 40 years ago and the general population under 50 are not familiar with her. She needs to try to get some television interviews.
She is now far beyond even being considered "Old School".

Diana Ross Charts With My Man
    From Facebook

8.27.2019 DID YOU KNOW??? On May 4, 2019 Diana Ross' version of "My Man [[Mon Homme)" peaked at #12 on Billboard's Jazz Digital Song Sales chart! [[3 guesses why!) I didn't find out about this recent charting until today. [Photo: February 12, 2019]

Of course it was because of the performance on Motown 60

Regarding iTunes, All the Great Hits and the #1s are consistently in the R&B Top 100 and Diana Ross Sings Songs From The Wiz hit #18. Last year after her appearances at the Macy's Parade and Rockefeller Center, Wonderful Christmastime also made a significant dent on iTunes in the Holiday genre. Here in the UK, "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" hit #2 in 2005 as a duet with Westlife.

I think you are right about Best Years as is Monica.

The person from Facebook posts some pretty rare stats.

Jazz, Opera, Adult Contemporary, Easy Listening, Country, Movie Soundtracks, R&B/Soul, Pop and Dance Charts.

Diana Ross is a song stylist for many musical genres.

We need a 2020 danceplay remix:
    "Once in the Morning/20/20"

The NYC disco clubs played this mix quite often:
"The Boss"/"No One Gets the Prize"/"Once in the Morning"

Motown missed a Number #1 hit by not promoting this dance jewel, OITM.

It still sounds as fresh as ever!

Thank you, Miss Ross for your lifetime of sharing the joy:
    "Your Good Loving Stuff".
