    Glad to hear that. I had abandoned the PBS / TJL shows - so corny - but will look out for reruns of this one.

    There will never be another one like Aretha! I am so glad I got the chance to see her in concert, she was magnificent!

    It was like a spectacle. It was at the Masonic Temple in Detroit a few weeks before Christmas. Our seats were excellent. Aretha was every bit the Queen of music that night singing everything from the 60s to the late 80s. She talked quite a bit and ad lib for the hometown audience. She only did one song at the piano. I especially enjoyed "Jimmy Lee" and her solo version of " I Knew You Were Waiting for Me".

    Don't be. One sad note, about a week or so after that concert, her brother Cecil passed. I remember he was at the show.
