Trendchaser story on Ed Sullivan and the Supremes

I came across a click through story on Ed Sullivan and his legacy. I went through it and discovered an interesting picture and small story on his
    publicity of the Supremes.

He Provided Huge Opportunities For African American Entertainers
In a time when African American entertainers had little or no outlet to show their skills to the world, Ed Sullivan and his show helped tremendously. He helped launch dozens of careers such as The Supremes, James Brown and Louis Armstrong. Sullivan got criticism from some, but just ignored it and continued to support everyone equally.

Unfortunately the picture did not follow through. Sorry. I tried.

I agree. The Ed Sullivan Show was invaluable in those days in launching careers and new recordings. It was on his show that many people first saw and heard The Jackson 5 with Michael Jackson.
