Scherrie Payne sings I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do The Walking/The Man l Love.

    This is excellent!

Scherrie looks and sounds better than she has in a long time....the last few videos I saw of SSJ she was really "phoning it in" ….here, she is looking & sounding great and really performing again....I am a big Scherrie fan...I lost true heartfelt interest in the FLO's when Jean left.

Scherrie has always had a strident and powerful voice, but for me this is not the way “The Man I Love” should be sung. I have heard so many versions of this song over the years, including all the greats but for me Diana along with Billie are the definitive versions.

You're welcome. No, this was from the 80s. Anywhere between 1982-84 I am guessing. This was after the Supremes, Partners and before The Flos were formed.

Great song LMHDTW, really like her voice here, these songs are sometimes hard to replicate live, she does a darn good job!
