What other producers/songriters made their way vocally onto Motown songs?

Ok, Johnny Bristol can be heard on "Someday We'll Be Together" by DRATS and "What Does it take [[To Win Your Love?)" by Jr. Walker and the All Stars, and Clarence Paul can be heard on "Blowing in the Wind" by Stevie Wonder.

Were there other songs, released or unreleased, in which the producer and/or songwriter can be heard?

Bobby Taylor sang background vocals on the stuff he produced on the Jackson 5. Ashford & Simpson also did backing vocals and Valerie usually played keyboards as well.

Smokey Robinson sings on the Supremes "Your Wonderful, Sweet, Sweet Love" through a synthesized voice.

Eddie Holland is on the Supremes "Sweet Dream Machine" with them

Although I could never discern this in any of the recordings, someone posted a while back that Eddie Holland was providing a backing vocal line to one of the songs on side 2 of the "More Hits by the Supremes" album. Was it "I'm in Love Again"....or did I dream this?

Nearly all of Stevie's productions for other artists seem to include him as a guest vocalist, at which point it often gives the impression of the main artist being demoted to the role of guest artist on their own record. This gives me mixed feelings.

When I saw Stevie at Wembley Arena in 1980 he performed "Let's Get Serious" without Jermaine using exactly the same arrangement as Jermaine's version, and it was clear that it would have been at least as big a hit without Jermaine.

Perhaps we need a thread called "Stevie Wonder productions that don't feature Stevie on vocals." I'd open that up with "Bad Weather". Can't think of any others right now.

On The Temptations' "Check Yourself", Brian Holland covered for members of the group [[he can be heard on the song's bridge singing 'the good times, the bad times') that were missing when The Tempts recorded the song.

If you listen closely you will hear Sylvia Moy caugh during Honey Chile and I believe Valerie Simpson sang one vowel during Diana Ross' version of Aint No Mountain High Enough.

It certainly sounds like Marvin during the intro doing his cooing falsetto.

I don't think Stevie sings in:
"Let Me Fall in Love Again" - Martha Reeves and The Vandellas
"Black Maybe" and "Cause We've Ended as Lovers" - Syreeta...

Speaking of Tammi, Harvey Fuqua and Johnny Bristol sang background on pretty much all of the stuff they produced for her. They even appear on some Marvin & Tammi songs as well.
