Ivy Jo is In This Bag, 7 down 4 to go!

With the early release of MU’69, three songs intended for Ivy Jo’s album were included. Slowly but surely, we’ll have the whole album. Possibly with MU’70.

The album plus more unreleased material like his version of TO SEE THE SUN AGAIN would be phenomenal.

The three remaining tracks are all 1970 recordings so next year, if not before [[hopefully)

    Thumbs down

Just when I thought we were getting there, Ivy Joe's album "The Best Of Ivy Joe" has disappeared off Spotify and Amazon music. Pity because some great tracks.

I totally agree, whilst I'm lucky enough to have heard much of his portfolio, I'd be over the moon to own a legitimate copy of his entire material! Oh such an underestimated artist I wish could be heard and deservedly so!

The Ivy Jo album is the one last remaining Motown album from the classic period that I am desperate to hear.

Are there any other artists from that timescale who have enough unreleased material to make a whole CD by them worthwhile?

I absolutely cannot wait for this to get a release. I'm looking forward to it more than Blinky. Definitely a good question about artists with enough material to fill up CDs.

I adore this singer! My favorite song from this album is The Loving Country. It is so deep and sincere...

I'm wondering about The Originals and even Brenda Holloway.

Maybe much more that we don't even know about. He definitely has a version of TO SEE THE SUN AGAIN which is phenomenal.
