Motown Singer from the 80s named Maureen Steele

I am posting this to assist in a private discussion I am having with one of our fellow members. Does anyone remember this girl? She recorded a 1982 album on Motown entitled "Nature of the Beast," which I enjoyed very much at the time. It was a well-produced album with very energetic vocals and I thought she resembled Madonna in style. I have also just read that she did some background vocals at Motown as well.

Can anyone add anything or maybe post a link to one of her songs?
