    Who remembers this groove from wayyyyyy back in the day,before it was parliment funkadelic..from[1968]...a sho enough jam!!

    I Do! First heard Funkadelic's "Music For My Mother" on the double LP singles compilation Music For Your Mother back in 1992. Indeed, it's a "sho enough jam" and the gateway to Parliament-Funkadelic's classic era in the '70s.

    Also, The Temptations adapted the "whoa-ha-hey" chant from Funkadelic's "Music For My Mother" during the closing moments of "Run Away Child" [the full length version from the Cloud Nine LP].
