Great list but id move Diana to number 5 and beyonce to number 6 and Whitney to number 1 and Marvin to number 2 and Jimi Hendrix to number 43. That would be the best list imo.

Nah.......I would move Marvin to Number 1. Not quite sure where i would place Hendrix lol. He certainly would not be in my top 10. Vanessa Williams definitely would though.

Wow, I had no idea Cher ever sang it at the Super Bowl. I'm a big Cher fan, but I honestly didn't think she had the vocal chops to tackle this song, which is notoriously difficult to sing they say. What a great job she did on it!

Yes. Diana is truly a trailblazer. She was also the first female singer to perform half time at the Super Bowl. 1st woman to have her own 90 minute tv special. And there are many others as well.
