Not a lot out there but I believe Courtship [[ aka The Courtships) were a Philadelphia group. The arrangers of their records included Philly based Bobby Martin and Tommy Bell. Jerry Ross was their producer. Jerry had Kenny Gamble as his protege and they co-wrote I'm Gonna Make You Love Me as recorded by Dee Dee Warwicke. This was covered by The Temptations and following the success of that record, Motown released a few productions by Jerry Ross with very little promotion and zero success. The Courtships also released product on Glades, the TK lable. No details as to their line up other than a photo exists of them as a three piece vocal trio. Releases appeared on DeepBeats Soul harmony cd in the UK.

According to TCMS, the group's line up was Billy Proctor [[lead singer, formerly known as Billy Hill when he sang with The Essex), Donald Robbins and Bruce Rembert. They all came from New Jersey.
