Thelma Houston on NBC's "Motown 45"

A brief memory of how a Motown anniversary special is suppose to be done!

Thelma was on Motown 60 as well and I thought she hit it out of the park with her performance!

I wholeheartedly agree. Thelma seems to be one of the unappreciated artists that recorded on Motown. She outdid herself on M60 and was really the shining star of the entire production.

Yes,but "Motown 45" included mostly Motown artists. NBC also aired "Motown 25". CBS also aired "Motown at 30, What's Goin' On?" which was also pretty bad in my opinion. I believe that NBC does the better job with these types of television specials.

By the way, ABC aired "Motown 40" which was also much better than "Motown 60".
