Amazing for a 75 year old.

I like how they calculate 4 because she got one each for Upside Down and I'm Coming Out. I guess it makes sense.

I was wondering how it was considered four because the Upside Down/I'm Coming Out mashup was one remix, so technically it was three #1's in the past year? Either way, good for her! Still waiting for that new studio album though lol.

I already commented on this in another thread, but that's okay. I never get tired of saying, "Congratulations, Diana! Yet another generation of fans has been touched by the timeless magic of Diana Ross & Motown!"

Does Diana get any real income from these club remixes? They are only available for download, and they only register on the Dance charts. So, other than the prestige of having numbers ones on the Dance charts, what does she get out of these releases?

If they were #1 pop album I don’t think it makes a lot of money anymore; physical sales are nothing; the number 1 album in January sold 1200 copies and digital doesn’t produce a lot of money.

But being on the road and concerts sure doo and the publicity sells tickets

As Philly Motown Gary said, Diana gets out of these releases is knowing that yet another generation is loving her music.

But I bet those were digital downloads that they make less on than an artist made on sales in the 1990s??

CDs still get sold. Digital downloads actually dropped more than CDs lol so I'll say 100,000 CDs and 65,000 MP3s were sold lol

ANYWAY, let's stay on topic lol
