Actually it is an appearance on "Ebony Affair". Still very rare:

thanks for sharing that!! It's a wonderful song I play often , but it was a poor close-out for the KOT trilogy . Too toned down , when they needed to amp the sound up yet another notch, as they did by following KEEP ON TRUCKIN with BOOGIE DOWN.
But after the no-holds-barred production of BOOGIE DOWN, I don't think there really was much upwardness left to reach .

As it is , HAPPY is a nice happy song to sway to , but not to, ... boogie down... , to! lol

You are most welcome Boogiedown. This song was my girlfriend in high school favorite song for a while back then. I always liked it a lot myself. It's more of a sing along, hum to yourself type song.

yes , Marv you said it exactly right.

.............and here it is on soul train:

who are the two ladies so prevalently on stage with him? They are dressed to coordinate with him . Eddie seems to like having them on stage with him . Maybe he should have developed some kind of act like that.

I don't who those ladies are now. Someone identified them once. I just cannot remember at the moment.

This is a great lil number by Eddie!

Also, anyone want to hear the song as an organ-based funk instrumental?

    There you go!
