What a great opportunity to interact with “Magnificent Mary Wilson!” Is she living in LA now?
Mary is sold out!
Great interview and thanks Marv! Nice to see Mary and Claudette so vibrant and out going. Oh btw, thanks for the other info you gave me earlier today. Very interesting.
I’ve seen April and Sept for the book’s release. ?
Here she is.....lady herself at the Paley Center:

Thanks people! Why UK so much sooner? Not fair! 😮. 75 never looked so good!
She is starting to scare me looking this damned good at her age, hehehehehehehe!
She is introduced in the clip as a Grammy Award Winner. I know that neither the Supremes, Mary Wilson, nor Diana Ross ever won a Grammy in competiton. The Supremes were nominated, but never won. Back then, the Grammies were still in the MOR mode with winners like Andy Williams and Henry Mancini.
Wouldn't it be nice if the Supremes were at least given some kind of special award?

Don’t the Supremes have a couple of songs that were inducted into the Grammy Hall of fame? Or something like that?

Yes . Stop in the name of Love was one I believe.
Yes. I had forgotten about the Grammy Hall of Fame. Stop in the Name of Love is one of their songs in the Hall of Fame. I guess it is a technical point that I am making. Having a song inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame does not make you a Grammy Winner. But at least they were finally recognized by the Grammies more that a quarter century later.
The Grammy Hall of Fame is a hall of fame to honor musical recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance. Inductees are selected annually by a special member committee of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts. It is compiled by The Recording Academy in the United States, and was established in 1973. Recordings [[singles and albums) in all genres are eligible for selection, and must be at least 25 years old to be considered. Additions to the list are chosen annually by a committee of recording arts professionals
