Least Favorite Song... by the Temptations!

I figured I’d jump on the bandwagon. Because even the greatest group of all time wasn’t immune to producing some garbage tracks from time to time!

Personally, can’t stand Zoom! It’s something you’d expect from the Undisputed Truth! Dated and ridiculous. Others I can think of include “Life of a Cowboy” & “Romance without Finance”

Still deciding, but I shall readily admit, that I usually would get turned off the deeper and more socially consciously psychedelic the Dennis Edwards era would fluctuate. This is just me, and my personal tastes.

That was a terrible song. It had not hook, melody or anything.

Yeah I wasn't too fond of that one either. It seems like after their great album, "A Song for You" in 1975, the Tempts just started putting out anything. No wonder the left Motown for Atlantic in 1977.

Well Marv "Happy People" was actually on A Song For You, so...

I'd say "Bareback" is a stupid but fun song with Richard and Glenn giving it a good go!!!

See we all differ in taste. "Run Away Child, Running Wild" was one of the biggest record of t he year in 1968-69 in Detroit! I use to hear it even at roller skating parties.

I remember buying "run away child, running wild" - and it reminded me of my childhood. I loved the "psychedelic" phase and I'll agree with some of the posts on here, that the Temptations seemed to lose their way by the mid 1970s. But for me, the one song that I am happy to skip when it comes on to my CD player is 'I can't get next to you'. I think the start of the song is just so tacky, that no matter how good the rest of it is, I've switched off.

Never said it wasn't on the album. Still, 90% of the "A Song For You" album was good to great in my opinion.
