    Spencer Wiggins

    Hi!

Who remembers this great deep soul artist?
Please read my new feature on him with an interview.
Other interviewees include his singing brother Percy Wiggins and the producer Quinton Claunch, who's close to 100 years old these days.

    Hi PeaceNHarmony!
At times it's only a bit cold over here, but we're used to it.
    Everything's fine in this corner.

    Best regards

Along with James Carr to me Spencer Wiggins is one of the best southern soul singer.

Thanks Heikki for this excellent -as usual- article.

    Thank you, Phil!
Spencer really is a great and vastly underrated singer. His Goldwax ballads are incredible.

I think this is the Ace/Kent cd from a few years back isn't it? Spencer was a truly great Southern Soul Singer. I must dig out this album. Thanks for the reminder Heikki, and Happy New Year to you.

    Hi Bluebrock!

Happy New Year to you, too!
There are actually two great Kent CD compilations on Spencer, and they are listed in the discography at the end of the article.

    Best regards
    Heikki

You are correct as always Heikki. I do indeed have both cd's and will be listening to both of them again over the next few days. Thank you again.
