You’re right - she’s great. Whoever she is, she’d have been a perfect 70s Supreme lead singer

This 45 may not have been reviewed in trade publication, but Gigi Galon was first mentioned in Billboard March 23 1963 page 42 [[appearing on a Vermont TV program). She also appeared on The Steve Allen TV show June 26, 1963. Cash Box November 4 1967 page 36 said she would soon tour England and appear on TV shows with Engelbert Humperdinck. Given the Arranger and the reference to Lindon Records it is likely that this 45 was recorded while she was in the U.K. Her bio in a 1967 Humperdinck tour program indicates she was born in San Francisco and one year earlier was working as an executive secretary at CBS-TV in Hollywood when a studio announcer heard her sing, resulting in an audition and contract with Dot Records.
Thank you Lakeside for the info on this great singer.
I don't really care for this version an awful lot. Give me Diana any day of the week.
Excellent. She puts real feeling into it. Not sure about the scenery flying around.
