Marvin and Motown did a good job on that album. Has been available several times on CD. Would welcome an expanded CD edition. Shame if only digital.

I think the original Motown release is on Spotify... I think anyway.

But yeah, great album from Marvin. His version of Unforgettable definitely is up there with Nat's version IMHO [[and I think he played piano in this version; sounds like his playing)

OK, I'm having a grumble and I'm hoping will be proved wrong over the coming months, but there are still many classic Motown albums from the likes of Jr Walker & The All Stars, Originals and Smokey & The Miracles, to name a few, that have yet to see a digital release, either physical or otherwise, I can't believe the powers that be at Universal are skirting around the issue by releasing stuff like 'In loving memory' expanded or 'Tribute to Nat King Cole' expanded. What next? The Abbey Tavern Singers expanded?...

This year marks what would have been the 100th birthday of one of America’s finest performers of popular song: Nat “King” Cole. In his decades-long career, Cole blazed the trail for many entertainers to come, influencing the likes of Count Basie and Ray Charles along the way.
Universal Music Group will celebrate his milestone centennial with a pair of retrospectives this spring, plus a digital expansion of another vocal icon paying tribute to the legend.

To be fair, I love Motown, but these two don't really interest me either lakelad

Hmm... I don't know if I call albums by Junior Walker and the Originals "classic". Their albums had potential to be classics but this was still the "filler" era.

Call them what you will. I'd take 'Rainbow Funk' or 'Moody Junior' over the ultimate 'filler'...A tribute to Nat King Cole' anyday.

This download is not available on Amazon as far as I can see.
I don't know how to access other forms of download...I only have/understand Amazon.
Does anybody know why it is unavailable on Amazon.?
As a big Nat King Cole fan, I'm not that bothered about this, but my 'helper' informed me that he was having trouble locating this , and it seems he was correct...

Nothing physical? What's the point? Physical should always be #1 priority.

I'm not sure if you can download music from Amazon US if you are in the UK... I think I tried it once, and even if you have an Amazon US account, you also need a payment address in the US, which you don't have if you are in the UK...
