Donna Summer Performing Motown

One of the biggest musical disappointments for me is that Diana Ross and Donna Summer never got to partner up either on record or in performance.
A big missed opportunity especially considering that they both contributed to and were involved in the THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY soundtrack where they instead wound up competing.

Until I read this thread I hadn't thought of these great artists collaborating, they would have been superb together.

I wonder if they were friends given their parallel careers?

I always loved Donna's rendition of "Reflections" on the Divas special. She, in my opinion, is such a great singer, and she definitely was having fun performing this.
