For the record I hold no animosity towards the original poster. I just thought it was in bad taste. I do have a problem with the hypocritical nature of the people that are defending it.

Why can't a joke be in bad taste and still be funny? It is not up to any one member to determine what should or should not be posted here. That is the job of the moderator. There is a triangle at the bottom of each post, clicking on which enables contentious items to be reported to him for his consideration, thereby eliminating the need for unwanted and unnecessary arguments.

And just for the record, having been accused of hypocrisy, if the subject in the original
post had been a fat [I see this has now become sizeist as well as racist], black woman, I still would have found it funny.
