Motown CDs with the original Motown design

Hi guys, I'm putting together a CD display, and I was looking for some of the nicest looking CDs to put in it [[the actual CDs, not the covers). However, I couldn't find any CDs with the classic Motown design [[1963–) on them, that is, the one with the blue bottom half and the Detroit map at the top with the multicoloured Motown logo over it. Are there any?

I have some with the Tamla Motown design on them, but none with Tamla, Gordy, Soul, etc. Some BBR and SoulMusic CDs [[like the recent Thelma Houston one) have done great jobs recreating the original design of the album, albeit with the BBR/SoulMusic logo on them instead, like so:

but still no CDs with the original Motown design, my most favouritest of all label designs...

Just an FYI: The original Motown label [[for singles) was actually pink with stripes. Not sure if any of the cds have this on them.

The 1994 release of the Marvelous Marvelettes has a light blue/green cd with a yellow Tamla Records globe logo.

Martha Reeves & TheVandellas' Live Wire! collection had the Motown label design on it's labels.

Looking Back 1961-1964 by Mary Wells had the Motown label design on its disc also. Sorry
I am unable to insert it here, but the design is identical to Live Wire in #16 above.

Also, Deliver the Singles by the Marvelettes 1961-1971, which was the third in the series besides Live Wire and Looking Back, had TAMLA in yellow at the top but no map.

These were all part of the Motown Master Series of releases.

Looks great. The choice of labels is a personal thing of course and no one could argue with those. There are some VIP or Rare Earth for example. My label choice would also have to include Phillies but for me you've already included the most iconic - the UK Tamla Motown.

Very nice, Tom! Great choice of labels! Pleasantly surprised to see Barry White's Unlimited Gold included! Gotta agree with mysterysinger, though -- a thousand lashes with a wet noodle for leaving out Philles [[the blue/black PR logo as well as the yellow/red PR logo! I have them in my CD collection. If I knew how to scan them into this posting, I would do it for you, but, unfortunately, I don't know how. Pity, as each CD contained within the Philles Album Collection box set recreates the Philles PR logo -- some in blue/black and some in yellow/red.

Thanks guys! I like it very much! I did think about VIP and Rare Earth labels, but I couldn't find any CDs with the original designs on them [[don't know if there are any). I wanted to include all the main Motown labels, and a good variety of other labels like Philadelphia International and Stax, and to represent some of my fave singer-songwriter-producers like HDH and Barry White.

If I'm honest, I am largely unfamiliar with Philles, apart from a few songs by The Ronettes and Righteous Brothers.

Hey Tom! I'm so glad to hear that, as your silence had left me wondering if maybe you didn't like them. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think. Also, be sure to check out my recent first Phil Spector thread in which I included a brief Bio along with Part A -- the "Complete Philles 45 Discography". Coming very soon is Part B - "The Complete Philles LP Discography" which will be followed by "Philles Rare And Unreleased", "Philles Subsidiary Labels", Phil's A&M Records period, Phil Spector International Records, fun Philles memorabilia, etc. Hope you'll love them all!
