I recently came across this interesting story about Jackey Beavers. I am including it courtesy of Dave Rimmer, www.soulfulkindamusic.net. It is
particularly noteworthy that he sang the original Someday We'll Be Together.

Jackey Beavers on Nation Records is a female singer from Chicago. I kind of shocked, considering that both Dave Rimmers and Dave Flynn, associated with "Soulful Kinda Music" website are big time players in The Northern Soul Community, and the female Jackey Beavers [[AKa Tammy LeVon) had a big hit on The Northern Soul scene, "Come Back My Love", and the male Jackey Beavers, from Michigan had several Northern Soul hits, and, of course, is well known to all Motown and Detroit Soul fans.
