I knew Eddy well, from my Tera Shirma days through Motown. He was always a gentleman and very friendly guy. This one saddens me........

There is a fundraiser here to raise money for the burial and funeral costs for Eddie. Although he was paid for his time in the studio as a session musician, he did not see royalties from the countless hits he played on. Even if you can't afford a contribution, a share on facebook will help to spread the word to Motown lovers around the world. This fundraiser is approved by the Willis family. As Moe mentioned, Eddie was indeed one of the nicest people you could ever meet, and incredibly positive and humble. He will be missed, but his contribution to music, society, and culture will live on...
