Got the info from James Twitter as well and since he knew her personally I figured it must be the truth.

I've been a fan of Morgana since I was a kid. A very unique voice.

Miss King was no joke. She has my favorite version of Stevie Wonder's "Visions." It was recorded in the 70s, on her album titled "Stretchin' Out." I can't find it on youtube. I may have to post it.

    RIP.

Finally, some media coverage. It's a shame that such a fantastic singer will be remembered mostly as Mama Corleone. Rest in power.

I remember listening to her after she appeared in The Godfather. I didn't care for her at that time, but now her voice and recordings really speak to me. Sometimes you have to grow into an artist, be ready to go where they want to take you rather than pig-headedly push for your own direction. Thank you for the music and the feelings, Ms. King. You're artistry will be remembered.
