    Here We Go Again

Lather, rinse, repeat. That's the process for the political drama that forever surrounds Donald Trump in his insatiable appetite for attention.
This time it is the imminent arrest of him [[which he predicts will happen this coming Tuesday) and he is ginning up his brain dead supporters to rally around him and riot in the streets. How'd that go for those folks who are now in prison as a result of the coup attempt two years ago in Washington, D.C.?

Also, the whole Tuesday thing he is talking about for his incarceration reminds me of the Wimpy character in the Popeye cartoons. He was always referencing Tuesday as the day he would gladly repay someone if they bought him a hamburger today.

Last summer, Trump and his cohorts leaked the information that the Feds had "seized" the classified documents he and his staff stole from the White House and brought along to the Mar-A-Lago resort among other places. See the pattern here? He stirs it up ahead of the news and tries to get his MAGA cult to revolt.
    Lather, rinse, repeat.
But all of this is just another smoke screen manufactured by the master con artist.
When the day arrives that Trump is indeed arrested, there will be no fore warnings. It will just happen. They will show up with the proper legal papers and take him into custody. That's how it works.
Until then, all bets are off.

I find it fascinating that Trump is calling for civil protests and possible violence over his approaching indictment and Kev McCarthy spit out something yesterday saying there should be no protest. I suspect Kev is going to find out that most MAGAs see him as nothing more than a wet noodle. By giving away the store to the Far Right in order to get the Speaker position he gave away what little authority he could scrap together to call a backbone. MTG, Jordan, and the rest want to incite. They see that as a strength while most Americans see it as ugly. The Kari Lakes of this world see dividing America as giving them and advantage. They don't understand they are actually driving people away.

The Pedophiles Are Inside The Churches

All of these stories were reported during the last month …
Michael Schneider, a staff member at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Illinois, was sentenced to 88 years in prison for criminal sexual assault of a minor and possession of child pornography.
Stephen Arthur Morris, a former pastor, was sentenced to prison for sex crimes but was back in court facing more charges … like sexually assaulting a member of his own family and four counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of first-degree sex offense with a minor.
Russell Woodman Davis, a lay pastor and youth minister, pleaded guilty to raping and attempting to rape the three girls at various times between 1988 and 2006, in Massachusetts.
Alexander Blackwelder, a youth pastor in Mississippi, accused of having sex with a 16-year-old female church member was ordered held without bond and charged with two counts of sexual battery and enticement of a child to produce visual depictions of adult sexual conduct.
Clark and Matthew Travis, brothers with pastoral leadership positions at Texas churches, were arrested and charged with sexually assaulting at least five children.
Jonathan Lamont Jenkins, a former Santa Ana youth pastor in California pleaded guilty and was immediately sentenced to 12 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
Daniel Merrick, a Christian musician, pastor in Pennsylvania was charged with more than 880 felony counts of child pornography.
Keenan Maurice Hord, a former youth pastor in Tennessee, pleaded guilty to 13 sex-related crimes involving children and was sentenced to 60 years.
Carl Johnson, a former church bishop in Utah was sentenced to prison on child sex abuse charges following incidents that dated back to the 80s.
Stephen Weiss, a former rabbi in Ohio will spend 6 months in jail after he pled guilty of sending explicit messages to a police officer he thought was a 15-year-old boy.
Kenneth Daniel, a former pastor, was arrested and indicted in October on charges of facilitating solicitation of unlawful sexual conduct with a child.
Joshua Henley, a former youth pastor, has been sentenced to 45 years in prison plus 10 years supervised release after admitting that he produced child sexual abuse material involving three minors, transported a minor across state lines with the intent to engage in sexual activity with the minor, sent obscene videos and images to a minor and possessed and transported child sexual abuse material.
Jeffrey Bedwell, a former pastor, received 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation, one count of lewd or lascivious conduct, one count of unlawful sexual activity with a minor female and one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition.
Mike Linkenauger, a former minister, was sentenced to life in prison for sexual battery and lewd or lascivious acts with a minor.
David Warren Henson, Jr., a teacher at a Lutheran church, was charged with sexual abuse of a minor and child pornography.
Milton O. Martin III, a pastor, was charged with sexual abuse of a minor and sexual battery.
Rogelio Vega, a disgraced Queens Catholic Church deacon, was sentenced to 16 years in prison for enticing three boys into having sex with him. After his arrest, investigators found evidence of more victims on his cell phone and identified three underage boys he enticed into sexual encounters.
Dennis Laferty, a pastor, has been charged with five counts of third-degree felony sexual battery, and one count of third-degree felony gross sexual imposition involving a female less than 13 years of age.
Gary Buckaloo, a youth pastor and worship leader, has been charged with one count of Indecency with a Child-Sexual Contact one count of Sex Abuse of a Child.
Terry Frank Compton, a former pastor, was sentenced to four life sentences after he pleaded guilty to multiple child sex crimes from 1995 through 2021.
James Rankin Johnson, a former teacher at a Christian school, pleaded guilty to the charge of “offenses against students by authority figures.” He accepted a plea deal for a lesser charge, with the state agreeing to drop two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation. He will serve four years in state prison with five years’ probation and register as a sex offender.
But again, tell me how drag queens are a threat to children. And, please, whenever you hear someone say drag queens or gay people, are grooming children, point out the vast numbers of so-called men of faith, who are raping children and worse.

And today is Tuesday. For those who don't know, today is the day Donald Trump told the world he was going to be arrested. Well, the NYC District Attorney is going to disappoint him, probably on purpose because he deserves to be disappointed. He deserves much more. Don't worry. The gates of Hell have begun to open.

Many in Trump's MAGA base were complaining that Florida's Ronnie D wasn't spitting out enough pro-Trump rhetoric. How galling it must be for Ronnie D. to be put in this position. He wants to be our first duly elected fascist president, and he he is, sort of defending the man he wants to trample at the polls.

And Republicans, themselves, are pulling out all of the stops of absurdity in order to try and discredit the approaching indictment. Jesse Watters, of Fox, went so far as to say that Trump couldn't have had sex with Stormy Daniels because there was no baby. Take a moment to let that sink in. Take more than a few seconds. Is he saying that every time Trump has sex with a woman she get's pregnant? If that's true, then his sex life must have been pretty lonely. Now, I want you to clear those thoughts from your mind, dwelling on them too long will lead to stomach cramps and nausea.

    Spring is Here

    *

    Ahhhhhh Spring. It's today.
A time of rebirth and coming out of a cold, heartless season.
And, if BLOTUS is correct, the day he's arrested / indicted. A different kind of rebirth. A different kind of cold and heartless times.
For Fuck Sake - it's a probable indictment on hush money to Stormy Daniels. I mean, this is a man who has defrauded much bigger things - including his country - for the sake of attention.
Unlike his probable lie regarding the January 6th insurrection where he claims he did not provoke or incite having rioters / felons / MAGA folks to overthrow the government, this time, he is asking / telling people to 'protect and take back our nation'.
    Fuck. I hate repeats.
But the word on the street is that his minions will surround Mar-A-Largo to stop any arrest or transport of the Whale [[not the movie!). Or as it's probably known as vigilantism. Maybe when they go to harm the law, they'll fatally injure the accused......except that would make him a martyr and I can't allow that.
While Stormy Daniels / $130,000 hush money is piddly stuff - where he won't spend one minute of jail time, even for arraignment - I SO need this to happen.
I need [[not want) the arrest to happen in the middle of the fucking night. Hair not done. Make up not on. Girdle not on. Depends probably still on.
I need that to the news cycle. I need it to be the image with which the country is left: the man behind the curtain. The charlatan. The version Melanoma had to see [[read: fuck!) just to get her green card and alimony.
Of course, tit for tat. Now favours are pouring in. That twat, McCarthy, is threatening the NY prosecutor with looking into seeing in any federal funds were used for x, y or z. That is a dangerous game. Doubtful you want the DOJ snooping through your shit, Kev.
Maybe this is a big Jenga analogy, and once this piece gets pulled, things will start to tumble.
    A boy can dream.

The Twitter world, as well as quite a number of other social media platforms is abuzz today because... well there's a good possibility something historic is going to happen today. And there are so many leaks spreading inuendo about this event. Just how is this event going to take place? The details are foggy, but again, the leaks are implying there will probably be no perp walk today. Evidently, according to the leaks, the Orange Anus is rather fixated on that. While being paraded down a hallway with his handcuffed hands in front of him would make for a great martyr picture, his ego would have a terrible time accepting that humiliation. Let's be honest here, the Orange Anus is anything but humble.

As for the GOP? The impending indictment is taking a sledgehammer to the party. This is what happens when you choose party over country. Happily for us, more indictments will follow. They know this. They are about to ender Bedlam.

And the Cracker Jack Crazy Christians? You know they're in trouble when Frankie Graham is asking them to pray to God to keep Trump from being indicted. Can we talk about failure here? Frankie has put all of his eggs in the wrong basket, perhaps because he wanted to be more powerful than his dad, or perhaps because he's just a dumbass. Either way, God is not going to stop the indictments, which will prove that either God doesn't care, or Frankie's been talking to the wrong deity [[I'm going for the latter). This historic event is sending the Cracker Jackers into some serious disarray.

No Trump Indictment Today: Grand Jury Won’t Meet

March 22, 2023 Trump Corruption, Trump Lies

    The New York Times reports:
The Manhattan grand jury that has been hearing evidence about Donald J. Trump’s involvement with a hush-money payment to a porn star will not meet on Wednesday, according to two people with knowledge of the matter, suggesting that any indictment of the former president would come Thursday at the earliest.
Criminal charges against Mr. Trump have been hotly anticipated since at least Saturday, when the former president, with no direct knowledge, declared on his social media platform that he would be arrested on Tuesday. But the grand jury, which meets in the afternoons, heard from a witness on Monday until nearly 5 p.m., leaving little time for anything else.
The grand jury meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and may hear from at least one more witness before being asked to vote, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Christian Filmmaker Steve Greisen Pleads Guilty to Sex Felony with Minor

    Steve Rabey March 22, 2023

Steve Greisen, a Christian filmmaker and a veteran of the Jesus movement’s 1970s-era music scene, pled guilty Wednesday in Colorado Springs to a criminal attempt to solicit online sex with a minor.

In a plea deal, Greisen agreed to register as a sex offender and spend five years in Colorado’s supervision program for sex offenders. He had been arrested on charges for inducement of child prostitution, patronizing a prostituted child and sexual assault on a child, with a possible prison sentence of 12 years.
The plea deal was reported by The Gazette. Greisen’s attorney, Richard Bednarski, did not respond to MinistryWatch’s requests for information and comment.
As MinistryWatch reported, Greisen was arrested Sept. 7 after arranging to pay an undercover detective $170 to have sex with a 14-year-old girl. The arrest came amid efforts by local and federal officials to “identify and arrest child sexual predators.”
Greisen, who is 68, runs two Christian film companies from Monument, a small town north of Colorado Springs: Exploration Films Distribution, which says it manages distribution of over 400 films; and Reel Productions, which released “First Love,” the acclaimed film on the early years of the contemporary Christian music movement, as well as biblical the biblical thriller, “The Mystery of The Ark of The Covenant.”
Access to MinistryWatch content is free. However, we hope you will support our work with your prayers and financial gifts. To make a donation, click here.
He was a singer for the 1970s Christian band, The Family, which toured with Second Chapter of Acts in 1976. In 1978 he married Second Chapter’s Nellie Ward, and for the next decade he served as that group’s tour director.
Greisen had been involved with Christian ministries both in Colorado Springs and around the country. He was also involved in founding and leading Holy Smokes, a national movement of small groups of mostly men who gather for “Faith, Friendship, Fine Tobacco & Drink.” Though not a formal, legal entity, Holy Smokes has more than 5,000 members in a Facebook group with the goal of “deconstructing harmful theology and building beloved community one cigar at a time.”
[[DISCLOSURE: MinistryWatch President Warren Smith is a member of Holy Smokes.)
In the past, Greisen had been featured in videos and podcasts by ministries including Summit Ministries, the Colson Center, and Moody Audio. Those resources, along with Greisen’s Holy Smokes podcasts, have been withdrawn without explanation. Greisen has also been removed as the administrator of the Holy Smokes Facebook page and was asked not to participate in future Holy Smokes events.

The Walt Disney Company will host a major conference promoting LGBTQ+ rights in the workplace in Central Florida this September, in a defiant display of the limits of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis De Fascists’ campaign against diversity training.
Joining Disney will be Apple, McDonald’s, Uber, Walmart, Hilton, Amazon, Boeing, Cracker Barrel and John Deere who are all sponsoring the Out & Equal Workplace summit.
And they will be saying Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender.

Kevin Bacon, praising RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 musical, Wigloose: The Rusical, railing against those anti-drag laws around the country:

"Big shoutout toWigloose: the Rusical [[and props to Heaven Bacon). With all the recent anti-drag bills, this came at just the right time. Drag is an art and drag is a right."
Bacon also linked to a page for RuPaul’s Drag Race production company World of Wonder's initiative with the ACLU, the Drag Defense Fund, which raises money in support of those impacted by the legislation.
Cuz drag is an art and drag is a drag, and drag is …
Of note: amid the rise in homophobic and transphobic political attacks, several Drag Race winners, icons and LGBTQIA+ community members will take part in the Drag Isn't Dangerous digital telethon on May 7, featuring Monét X Change, Trixie Mattel, Jinkx Monsoon, Kerri Colby, and more in a streaming event that will raise funds for those affected by anti-drag legislation.

Maren Morris, country singer, after performing at a benefit concert to oppose Tennessee’s anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, took her message to Instagram after with a dare for her home state:

“Thank you Nashville, the gorgeous Queens and the LGBTQ+ community for showing up last night. A HUGE thank you … for pulling off the unthinkable at Bridgestone. A lot of healing happened and it won’t be forgotten … I brought my son here earlier today for soundcheck, and he’s turning three this week, and we got to go in the room where all the queens were getting ready and doing their makeup. And he freaked out when he went in there because it’s just magic what drag queens do. There’s wigs everywhere, and the smell of hairspray and wig glue; there’s glitter; everyone’s in a good mood. It’s just like a room of love and yes, I introduced by son to some drag queens today so Tennessee f**kin’ arrest me.”
This is how it’s done: stand up, speak out, dare the haters to act.
Their fear tactics will not win.
    photo
Dennis Prager, conservative podcaster, on banning drag because the Baby Jeebus:

“So, first of all, I personally don’t find it funny. I mean, if it’s a routine, like what was the one, the famous movie, Mrs. What—what was it called? Mrs. Doubtfire, that’s different. It was a middle-aged guy as a dowdy woman. And you know, the travails that ensued, that was a comedy. But in general, drag queen shows are not Mrs. Doubtfire. For many there was a sexual element, certainly for the performers. Would you like to perform in a dress or in a skirt or whatever other women’s clothing would be involved? Secondly, I wouldn’t attend because I actually take the Bible seriously and it says, ‘A man shall not wear a women’s clothing.’ I want to preserve the order that the Bible has established, and it’s an order built on distinctions. One of them is male/female. When you shatter the distinction in dress, you begin the process of shattering the distinction. So I think that the damage is not worth the fun.”
Hey dumbass? Take a look at movies since movies began and see how many men in women’s clothes films and TV shows and plays have been made over the years. And I’m sure you’ve seen a lot, but if you haven’t, your loss. But you don’t have the right to tell anyone else in America what they can and cannot see. Oh, and if you follow any of the teachings of the Bible, you best follow them all, you shrimp eating, mixed fabric wearing heathen, because God sees you and She isn't happy.
You don’t like drag, don’t go. You won’t be missed.
    photo
Kelley Robinson, President of the Human Rights Campaign, wants Republicans who wage war on transgender people to know she sees right through them:

“What I see in front of me is insecure people with power that are doing all that they can to hold onto it. Any time somebody talks about turning the clock back, that's a dog whistle. Whether you want to bring it back to 2015, or you want to bring it back to 1915, or you want to bring it back to 1815, we know what you are saying. You are trying to drag us back. For me, the brilliant thing and the beautiful thing about this country is that we can envision a possibility in the world that our ancestors had never experienced before, that's the whole beauty of the whole experiment to me.”
She’s right; the GOP is scared after 2020 And 2022, and terrified of what 2024 might bring, so they ignore their campaign promises and instead use fear and a campaign tool.
I’m not afraid of drag queens or history or books or the LGBTQ+ community or of women choosing to make their own health care choices, and I will never vote in fear.

    Florida’s Idiocracy: An Update

    MARCH 24, 2023
    Statues without pants.
From The Bulwark, by Charlie Sykes:
I regret to tell you that this is not a parody:
A Tallahassee charter school principal has been forced to resign after parents complained about a sixth grade art history lesson, claiming Michelangelo’s statue of David, arguably the most famous sculpture in the world, was ‘pornographic’.
Hope Carrasquilla was pushed out of Tallahassee Classical School this week after three parents complained about the curriculum.
Two said they wished they’d been made aware that kids were being shown images of the sculpture first, and one claimed it was ‘pornographic’.
According to the Tallahassee school, some of the children were “upset,” which seems unlikely.
What actually happened is that three [[3) parents, who were evidently unacquainted with depictions of genitalia or classical art, but ever vigilant to the threat of wokeness and pornography, decided to be offended.
So the principal is out, and the tender eyes of the young classicists are protected from the corrupting influences of Renaissance art.
“We’re not going to show the full statue of David to kindergartners,” the school board chairman told Slate. “We’re not going to show him to second graders. Showing the entire statue of David is appropriate at some age. [Ed note: It was actually shown to sixth graders.] We’re going to figure out when that is.”
    Ahhhhhhhh….
This — in all of its effulgent glory — is actually an episode from “The Simpsons” come to life: In the cartoon version, Michelangelo’s David is sent around on a tour of the US, with an expected stop in Springfield, which triggers members of SNUH [Springfieldians for Nonviolence, Understanding, and Helping].
They urge Marge to protest the famed sculpture, claiming it’s offensive and inappropriate. However, Marge, being an artist herself, insists it’s a masterpiece.

    REPORT THIS AD
But, the Florida story is even better, because this episode of pecksniffery and philistinism is brought to you by the inaptly named “Tallahassee Classical School,” which claims that it is committed to “training the minds and improving the hearts of young people through a content-rich classical education in the liberal artsand sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue.”
One suspects that many of these words do not mean what the Florida folks seem to think they mean.
The school’s website defines “classical education,” as “the pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty.” And it adds:
The word “liberal” comes from the Latin word “libertas” meaning “freedom.”
This does not, however, mean the freedom to look at what is arguably the world’s most famous statue, because, well, you can see his junk. Which, apparently, is not conducive to “principles of moral character and civic virtue.”
The school’s chief idiocrat and board chair, Barney Bishop III explained:
Well, we’re Florida, OK? Parents will decide. Parents are the ones who are going to drive the education system here in Florida. The governor [Ron DeSantis, Slayer of Wokeness] said that, and we’re with the governor.
He insists that Florida parents who chose this kind of classical education expect to have their children shielded from actual classics like David — or any of that other woke/CRT/1619 crap.
Parents choose this school because they want a certain kind of education. We’re not gonna have courses from the College Board.
We’re not gonna teach 1619 or CRT crap.
I know they do all that up in Virginia. The rights of parents, that trumps the rights of kids.

    REPORT THIS AD
    And who needs experts?
Teachers are the experts? Teachers have all the knowledge? Are you kidding me? I know lots of teachers that are very good, but to suggest they are the authorities, you’re on better drugs than me.
    **
This may not be solely a Florida problem, however. Tallahassee’s Classical School is part of Hillsdale College’s charter school initiative and uses Hillsdale’s “classical” curriculum.
Hillsdale has long been a bastion of conservative academia, but in recent years it has thrown in its lot with the Trumpified culture warriors.
As it turns out, its commitment to the pursuit of the truth, goodness, and beauty is in tension with the culture war penchant for moral panics triggered by statues without pants.
    **
Exit take. Wait ’til they hear about this¹:
And we shudder to imagine the reaction of the budding juvenile classists if they should ever encounter this²:

A bit of delightful news was released yesterday, regarding Mark Meadows and... well, a whole bunch of Trump's allies. A Federal Judge has ruled that they must testify before the DOJ's January 6 Grand Jury. They are not allowed to use the 5th Amendment. Oh, and one of his attorneys was forced to answer questions yesterday regard his stealing of secret documents. Evidently there is enough evidence now that he used his that attorney, as well as others, to commit a crime.

The Orange Anus is also holding a rally today in Waco, Texas. 30 years ago there was a terrible siege at Waco between the Federal Government and a cult led by a guy name David Koresh. He, as well as a number of other cultists, died in the ensuing battle. Don't doubt for a second Trump doesn't want to incite his own cult. He probably sees that as his only way to survive.

The Orange Anus had a rally yesterday in Waco, Texas. Honestly, I just didn't want to take the time to find out what he was saying. I did see some sort of horseshit that brain dead Ted Nugent was there spitting out some sort of lies that floated through the audience like over-buoyant turds. The only thing of interest I did see was his failure to mention either Ted Cruz or Greg Abbott. Those 2 have become political enemies since they now support DeSantis.

Mostly people seem to be waiting for the New York Grand Jury to reconvene. People are hungry for an indictment, even centrist Republicans. I don't doubt many of them realize that the party will be torn asunder, however, it won't be until afterwards that the rebuilding can commence. I don't doubt that the future Republican party will be kinder and gentler, and oh so very much weaker.

And for those who haven't been paying attention, Israel's on the point of being flushed down the conservative shitter. Baby Netanyahu and his ilk are desperately trying to create their own style authoritarian government, one similar to that which our Republicans want, where they will be able to say "shut up, we're in charge." However, they're running into some serious problems. A vast majority of Israelis don't want this. Protests abound. A General Strike is causing havoc. And all the while,
Baby and his cronies are facing what might possibly complete political ruination. I think it's about time that Baby gets his diaper changed.

Here in the good old US, the question of the hour is "will this be the week of Bragg?" I do believe the New York Grand Jury is set to reconvene today. Anticipation is still on high.

I wish I had more to talk about but I really don't have it in me to discuss another school shooting or Republicans trying to protect children from drag queens while not doing one damn thing about gun control. I have thoughts.
Trust me. I have thoughts. But you know what they are. What good is it going to do any of us for me to point out the hypocrisy of what's going on in government these days? The deadly hypocrisy. Whether we're talking gun control, or LGBTQ+ rights, or not allowing parents to get the necessary medical treatments for their trans kids, or denying abortions to women, it's about the absolute certainty of it all leading to deaths.
And I am not talking about embryos here.

    Yeah. I can't.
It will be interesting to hear what Pence has to say to the Grand Jury about the January 6 thing. "Thing." Haha! "Treasonous uprising" more like it. One would think that he'd be chomping at the bit to testify about a situation in which he very well could have been murdered along with his family in the US Capitol building but no, he's still too far up Trump's butt or...something. I don't know. Who can figure out a guy who's so afraid of his own demonic [[I guess) sexual urges that he won't allow himself to be alone in the presence of a woman he is not legally wed to? Eh, he's probably just afraid of being accused of something he did not do which also says a lot about how much he trusts women.
Of course he may weasel out of testifying. Does he really think that he could be the next Republican candidate for president?
    They're all insane.

The NYC Grand Jury has been quiet for some time. Will there be an indictment shortly? That's difficult to say. Word was out that they may reconvene tomorrow and possibly look at other cases. I don't think that's how it works. I do think Grand Juries are convened for one specific case, when the decision is made to either indict or not, that jury is let go, they move on to other cases. There, I suppose, the possibility they may be working on indicting more than one individual Trump's case.

And Mikey Pence needs to testify before the DOJ Grand Jury. That's a good thing.

I find it amusing how the Republicans talking constantly about how Democrats have weaponized the government while it's they who have been weaponizing everything they can to hurt Centrist America. They fail to understand that they will never get a majority to sign on to an authoritarian America and they don't care if they end up destroying the one thing that makes us great. And there is so much hatred in their hearts.

Finally, I've been laughing at Fox and how they're trying to keep Rupert Murdoch from testifying in the Dominion Law Suit. Are they afraid he might say something damning? And the fact that their extremists are going to have to testify? That's almost yummy. Tucker Carlson in the witness box is a gift.

In Utah, a parent has grown Frustrated by the books being removed from school libraries and says there’s one book that hasn’t been challenged, but perhaps should be. So they submitted a request for the district to review the Bible for inappropriate content like:

“Incest, onanism, bestiality, prostitution, genital mutilation, fellatio, dildos, rape, and even infanticide. You’ll no doubt find that the Bible, under Utah Code Ann. § 76-10-1227, has ‘no serious values for minors’ because it’s pornographic by our new definition.”
    Pornography, right?
When you go to vote from now on through forever, pleased remember that the very next day after three children were shot dead in a Nashville school, Republicans turned to Congress still wearing their assault weapons pins in lieu of the American flag pins.
If that doesn’t sicken you, you have no soul.

    Reverse Psychology

Honestly, the Democrats are just stupid as fuck. And I should know - I'm one of them.

Gun control has not worked. They can't even get it up for a vote, let alone pass diddly squat. Fuck, they're not even smart enough to have a good debate where they're not shut down.

Naturally, you're debating with someone who is even a bigger idiot, so that's never gonna work in the first place.

Logic and statistics mean nothing. NOTHING.

    So stop.

I'm going to give them the key - right here, right now.

Tell the GOP motherfuckers it is required for every household to have an AR-15 or larger weapon. Call for a mandate on those weapons. Required to have. Must have. No exceptions.

The GOP will ban weapons that very day, just so the Dems don't get their way.

    Plain and simple.

If a Democrat said the sky was blue, there'd be legislation stating it is illegal to say "blue" when describing the sky.

It's very simple: make every day Opposite Day.

    Reverse psychology.

They're gonna do whatever the Dems don't want to, so change the narrative. Say you DO want to do something even though we don't, and the GOP will try to fuck us over doing the exact other thing. Honestly, it will like a decade before anyone catches on.

    You're welcome!

Brian Kilmeade, Fox & Friends host, on that Thing 45 rally in wacko Texas:
“The United States’ former president opened up with January 6 video, which is insane! He should be running from that, period. I don’t care [about] his point of view, that is not a good thing for him. I thought that was absolutely awful. Even though he is winning in the polls, that will not help.”
He doesn’t care; his ego is so huge, and so overrun with Adderall and syphilis that he thinks he can do and say whatever he wants and his Red Hatted MAGAT minions will do his dirty work for him.
Kanye West, on his new pro-Jew stance and how it happened:
“Watching Jonah Hill in 21 jump street [sic] made me like Jewish people again. No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people.”
Seriously, someone get him back on his meds.
Also of note, Kanye dd not disavow his love for Hitler.
Gregg Jarrett, Fox News legal analyst and apparent moron, has a new theory about January 6:
“One wonders, did Nancy Pelosi want it to get out of hand? Is that the reason why her daughter was suddenly there filming her mother in this heroic role? Because all of this, you know, was somehow planned and conjured up? You know, I think it’s worth asking the question but the committee wouldn’t allow it.”
Yes, Nancy Pelosi riled up the MAGAt Minions to march to the Capitol and “take back” their country because her daughter was there filming a documentary.
Um, Gregg, you ignorant fool, Pelosi’s daughter was there because it was an historic day in American politics, as it is every four years, when a presidential election result is certified.
Only one politician prodded a mob or miscreants, losers, basement dwellers, and tiny dicked Proud Boys to go to the Capitol that day.
PS Gregg Jarrett says his home Wi-Fi mysteriously goes down whenever he’s writing a hit piece about Biden.
It might be that tin-foil hat, fool.
Tim Burchett, Tennessee GOP Congressman, has said the quiet part out loud about mass shootings in America:
“We’re not going to fix it. It’s a horrible, horrible situation, and we’re not going to fix it. Criminals are gonna be criminals. [My] daddy fought in the second world war, fought in the Pacific, fought the Japanese, and he told me, he said, ‘Buddy,’ he said, ‘if somebody wants to take you out, and doesn’t mind losing their life, there’s not a whole heck of a lot you can do about it.’”
Just let ‘em die and keep on moving, eh you ignorant gun loving fuck? And when this fool was asked a follow up question about how to protect his own daughter in school, Burchett replied:
Well, we homeschool her, but you know, that’s our decision. Some people don’t have that option and frankly, some people don’t need to do it. I mean, they don’t have to. It just suited our needs much better.”
So he sees the problem of mass shootings in schools but I guess if his kid is safe then there’s nothing for him to do.
Rachel Maddow, on Thing 45 promoting a Twitter poll conducted by Elon Musk’s favorite right-wing troll:
“Very, very exciting for them, right? If you look closely, you can see that the source for this poll is… Oh, @catturd2! Congratulations, sir! Who among us has not longed for the day in which we can claim victory in the acclaimed @catturd2 presidential poll? You know, @catturd2 does really seem to appeal to [Thing 45] in a visceral way, and I will note that Mike Pence is almost certainly not coming back as [Thing 45] running mate. I know it doesn’t totally roll off the tongue, but the t-shirts would be incredible, right? Vote [Thing 45]-Catturd2, for a Fresh Step! Scoop away your worries! Now with less clumping!”
It would be nice if Thing 45 had less clumping. But the best part is that he’s retweeting Catturd2 and their endorsement.

Ron DeSantis, Florida’s fascist governor, still stinging form the Mickey Mouse bitchslap, panders to Thing 45 and his ilk:

“The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American. The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda.”
You’re so transparent Ron. You’re either doing this because you think the MAGAts will swing to your team in Thing 45 goes away, or you’re doing this because you think it might make a criminal more popular And you’ll lose in 2024.
Either way, you look like a bitch.
    photo
Steve Scalise, House Majority Leader, who himself nearly died in a mass shooting, knows how to stop the bloodshed:

“The first thing in any kind of tragedy I do is I pray. I pray for the victims. I pray for their families. I really get angry when I see people trying to politicize it for their own personal agenda, especially when we don’t even know the facts. We’ve talked about things that we can do, and it just seems like on the other side, all they want to do is take guns away from law abiding citizens before they even know the facts. The first thing they talk about is taking guns away from law abiding citizens. And that’s not the answer, by the way. So why don’t we number one, keep those families in our prayers.”
It’s been over ten years since Sandy Hook and with the GOP offering nothing but prayers it is clear that Steve Scalise is a dumb fuck.
It’s been six years since Steve Scalise was shot, and clearly his own prayers didn’t even save him.
What’s that saying … doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity? That’s Scalise and the GOP; fucking insane.
    Praying doesn’t work.

And yesterday was a sad day for Fox News.... so get out your party hats. A judge has ruled that Dominion has produced enough evidence to send their lawsuit against the tabloid network to trial. Old Rupert is going to court... again. That old fool has been sued before and has usually settled out of court. Not this time. Rupert's luck with juries is bad. The prime example is the lawsuit brought against News of the World, a now defunct newspaper owned by Murdoch. A brief synopsis: reporters for that paper hacked into the phone of girl who had been kidnapped and murdered, and wrote articles saying she was alive, and Rupert knew they were doing this. Things went down badly for Rupert. From the information that has so far been released, Rupert knew his on-air personalities were lying about election fraud in 2020 and did nothing to stop them. News of the World was shut down. Let's hope the same thing happens to Fox.

Trump’s Indictment Proves the Opposite of What He Says

    APRIL 1, 2023
In a truly failed state, he’d never face accountability.
    From Politico, by Jack Shafer:
If the facts are against you, the old legal adage says, hammer the law. If the law is against you, hammer the facts. If the facts and the law are against you, hammer opposing counsel.
To that timeless judicial wisdom Donald Trump has added this codicil: If the facts are against you and so is the law and your opposing counsel survives all your doubletalk, start calling your prosecution something out of a “third world nation.” That’s precisely what the former president posted to his Truth Social account Thursday evening when news of his indictment was confirmed by the Manhattan district attorney. “The USA is now a third world nation, a nation in serious decline. So sad!” Trump wrote in all caps.
Other members of the Trump family seconded their paterfamilias’ charge. “This is third world prosecutorial misconduct. It is the opportunistic targeting of a political opponent in a campaign year,” tweeted son Eric. “The ruling party is trying to jail the opposition leader like a third world dictatorship!” repeated son Don Jr. Defeated Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake joined in, issuing a supporting statement: “Jailing your political opponents based on frivolous politically-motivated accusations is something that you’d expect to see out of third-world dictatorships or banana republicans.” Trump’s super PAC chief Taylor Budowich was only slightly off message, calling the grand jury vote the “indictment of a failed nation.”
Stating simply that he was innocent might have been the more prudent — and accurate — alternative. But prudence and accuracy have never been in Trump’s toolkit, nor has respect for the court. Ever since he appeared on the political horizon — hell, ever since he grew out of short pants — Trump has scorned and degraded practically every democratic institution that has limited or challenged him.
When elections go against him, he bashed the election as corrupt. When the courts defied him, he torched the judges as “so-called” or having “an agenda” or making political judgments rather than judicial ones or of “disgracing the judiciary.” In 2020, he demanded, with little rationale, that Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg recuse themselves from any case involving him. In Trump’s hermetically sealed world, the only evidence needed to declare corruption or banana republichood was that a ruling had gone against him.

Republicans Are SO Dumb ... How Dumb Are They?

When I first saw a photo of Texas Congressman Jeff Leach I thought he was a cute little nugget; but not only is he Texas but he’s also Republican and that puts a bad stank on cute little nuggets.
And then there was this … during a hearing on Texas’s anti-trans bill this week, which would expand the statute of limitations under which doctors can be sued by former patients who have received gender-affirming care n order to discourage healthcare professionals from providing gender-affirming care for fear of future litigation, a a third-grade teacher spoke out against the bill:
“We are suffering from so many different things in this state. To be focusing on something that would very specifically harm transgender kids when they represent such a small portion of our population, as a Texan it just really hurts my heart to see.”
And then we learned that Jeff Leach is not as smart as a third grade … teacher because following the teacher’s comments, Leach called on the next speaker listed:

“Is there a Connie Lingus here?”
    Crickets.

What about Anita Dickinme? Or Holden Midick?”
    Giggles.

“Are any three of those people here?”
    Laughter.

“Alright, you got your… moment. I hope you enjoy it.”
Making a Republican look like more of an idiot? Yeah, we enjoyed it like shooting fish in a barrel.
    Happy Monday!
