    Same Track Different Song

In 1965 Ike & Tina Turner released a single titled Somebody [[Somewhere) Needs You [[Loma 2015) the song was also included on their Loma album "Live - The Ike & Tina Turner Show, Vol 2." Frank Wilson was credited as the songwriter, but on certain issues it is credited as Frank Wilson and Marc Gordon.

This same track was also used on several different records, with the song titles, lyrics and writers credits being totally different.

Go For Yourself by Larry Laster [[Loma 2043 - 1966 written by Leon Sylvers)

Lighten Up Baby by Ty Karim [[Car-A-Mel 1677 - 1966 written by Kent Harris)

Lighten Up Baby by Larry Atkins - Highland 1193 - 1968 written by Kent Harris

I always thought "Somebody [[Somewhere) Needs You" sounded like Darrell Banks's "Open the Door to Your Heart".
