Marvin "performs" All the Way Round on Soul Train

As we all know by now, most of the performers who guest appeared on Soul Train had to lip sync. Few ducked that trend. Anyway, Marvin was on a professional high in 1977 via the continued success of the I Want You album and Got to Give It Up was also on its way to becoming Marvin's 12th number one hit [[R&B) so it was great for ST to give an entire episode just to him on May 7, 1977.

Anyway, this is one of my all time favorites from Marvin.

Love MG's wardrobe by the way. Other folks wouldn't have pulled it off but he did and check the earring on his right earlobe!

Love Marvin's look on this one. And "All the Way Round" is one of my absolute favs. I've worn that song out.

^ Yeah. I just love the melody, the smooth soft way Marvin sang it, the background vocals... just everything!
