I wondered if there were possibly some subtleties to some of this - because I certainly haven't been reading it thoroughly.

Canada certainly does not face the issues the USA faces particularly now that you have a racist President.

But Canada does faces racism toward indigenous peoples and we are also a society where Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal and now minority Caucasian. And racism is everywhere, in the most unexpected places and faces.

Trump is an entitled white brat; Kanye seems to be an entitled black brat. Maybe it should have been rat instead of brat.

Imagine being so "woke" you sleepwalk through life with the belief that you're enough of a "free thinker" that you embrace a racist under the pretense of individual expression. People call that fool a genius when he's much more like an idiot savant.

You can drop the "savant." Kanye himself said that he refuses to read, basically saying that books are for the birds. Combine that with an international platform and mental illness and this is what you get.
