The regional premier of ELLA, starring Freda Payne will be from April 18 through May 13 at the Delaware Theatre Company, 200 Water Street, Riverfront, Wilmington, Delaware. The show is conceived and directed by Maurice Hines. Tickets start at $25. Further details www.delawaretheatre,org. The advertisement states "Payne is nothing short of Marvelous."
That is quite a lengthy stay for Freda Payne in Wilmington, Delaware.
In case anyone is planning to go there, the distance between the Amtrak station and the theatre is 0.2 miles ---- a short cab ride.

Freda Payne is sensational and I saw her perform Sophisticated Ladies many years ago! She will be marvelous, I'm sure! She is such a great singer!
