I like Aretha's the best, but Gladys' isn't too shabby, either.

Aretha is the superior all-around singer but on this one I like Gladys -

Heh, seems like the majority rules with the Empress of Soul so far.

I can never compare these two. They both are too great! There songs and recordings Aretha has done that no one on the planet could even come close to. Gladys has been consistently excellent for over 6 decades now!

Miss Gladys, without a doubt. When the album Still Together came out, I couldn't stop playing this one and To Make a Long Story Short. Both still get multiple repeats when the CD is aired. I rarely play Miss Ree's. Van McCoy was such an under-rated writer with so many great compositions.

I love them both, but i would have to give the nod to my all time favorite female singer Ms Gladys Knight.

Aretha put some ethereal stank on this one, so I have to go with her. However, I will say that Gladys didn't do a bad job either.

Still Together was one of my favorite albums and this song is one of the reasons. I love this song by Gladys Knight. She wins IMO.
