SessionsX - Martha Reeves, Smokey Robinson, Joe Messina, Ralph Terrana, Dennis Coffey

Not sure if this has been discussed before on here...

    www.sessionsx.com

This is an on-demand, music-related video streaming service. It has some great interviews with Dennis Coffey, Ralph Terrana, Joe Messina, Smokey Robinson and Martha Reeves [[along with some music performances).

It's subscription based, but there's a free trial available.

    Enjoy!

Forgot to add - some of these interviews have been used in the TV documentary "Hitsville US Eh" - which discusses Motown and its link with Windsor and the rest of Canada in the 60's / 70's. Currently airing on Canadian TV.

FYI. I sent an email to the Canadian group in charge of the program [[eyeoncanada) and just got a response as follows:

"Unfortunately there is no DVD at the moment and the rights are not cleared yet for the
    U S market."

I'd really love to see this show.

There is a great DVD on the exact subject that was released back in 2005 called "Radio Revolution: The Rise And Fall Of The Big 8" I got a copy from the producer before it was broadly released. Great DVD:

Strange that the rights haven't been cleared, because the only licensed music I remember hearing in the documentary was a karaoke-styled version of 'Someday We'll Be Together'
