    I'll believe it when I see it. Even though Aretha has spoken about this project for years, given how private she is, I don't think she will sign off on it. And I can't believe a major studio would invest $$ in a bio-pic that didn't include some drama. But I will certainly be there if indeed it does happen.

    As Clive Davis announced publicly that Aretha approves the casting it looks possible. It will probably be as authentic as Dreamgirls.

    They're gonna HAVE to include some drama. Aretha can't expect everyone to think her life was so rosy, does she? Especially with the way she sang all those songs, she was the female Ray Charles for God's sake. Those folks sang about PAIN, man!

    Personally, they need to get BET involved with the production! They went above and beyond with the New Edition biopic last year, and I feel they could do just as well with Aretha’s story.
