    Yes he was. He was very consistent over the years that he was like a part of the furniture when it came to watching games. Rest in peace Dick. Thanks man.

    I remember him for calling the Olympics and for his partnership with Al McGuire on NBC college basketball broadcasts. They were a fantastic team that laid the groundwork for much of what today's sports broadcasters do. Sad to hear that he's gone. Why is it that 82 almost seems young these days?
