    Another UK 60's R&B great

Check out Georgie's cover of Booker T and the MG's stuff too

Georgie Fame is quite overlooked here in the USA; I always find him entertaining.

Another overlooked R&B group from the 60's, here a reasonable cover of the Drifters "Please Stay"

Worth noting that most of the UK 60's R&B groups were much better live than in the Studio, but that may be just because they played mostly small clubs, not even theatres

A big UK hit for Georgie Fame (though he cut it as a LP track & didn't want his record company to put it out on a 45) ....

"Sitting In The Park" was on this LP ... you might just know the title track ...

  6. #6
One of the best 'live' UK R & B groups ... taking on Edwin ...
