    Let's Fire it Up!

Okay we couldn't import your threads to start them up again. Just click Post New Thread and off you go. And, oh yeah, I'm Lobo the Test Dummie. I am a regular member like the rest of you, used by my puppet masters the admins to test and demonstrate things within the same controls you use. Hello and welcome.

Who will be the first to post???

    A couple of questions.

    1. How do you delete a post? Ah, perhaps I've found it. Do you have to choose edit then delete?

    2. What is the time zone? I'm in the UK and the posts seem to be two hours behind BST.

Yes, I found it John. The clock now seems to be OK since I added UK to my profile.

John, I think the green dot indicates that the member is online.

    Hi! You made it!

Frankly, I find it a tad amusing that many of you are having trouble finding your way around. I guess many of you do not really participate on internet forums other than SD. I'm not a mod, but I hope I can help a bit.

I'm holding up my end for firing it up. I'm averaging 8,631 posts per day, according to my profile! I've been a busy man!

You can see me being happy about that:

The spell check being used here is part of internet explorer and has to be downloaded. I tried using it by clicking the spell check icon and it will told me to download it.

I already have it as part of my Google Toolbar, so I am just using that.

Do you have a PC or a Mac? I know absolutely NOTHING about technology [[especially computers). But I have a Mac, and my spellcheck programme is always on for ANY writing I do, no matter what website I'm on, or programme the site works through. I just need to change the language on my toolbar, and the spellcheck works for that language. I would guess that PCs have an equivalent function. Can anybody confirm that, or comment on how that works on a PC and on Internet explorer? I only use Firefox [[or Safari on the rare occasion that Firefox doesn't work as well with a specific function).

Just incase you guys didn't notice, you can change the colour scheme of the forum. The white and grey was too hard on my eyes, so I changed it to orange. Looks good.

The orange is too hard on my eyes. We need Lowell to offer a black background! I hope that's possible with this software [[the black printing would need to change to white or yellow).
