All of those are great choices too. I did not realize how difficult it would be to pick just one track per album.

Touch - here comes the sunrise
Return - I'm glad about it

When I made this video, I decided not to put the singles [[because I like them all). And I put 3 songs from each album, because it was very difficult to choose just one.
I'll make my favorites from the Scherrie era soon!

Some of the albums I could pick 4-5 songs. Looking back now and after haven't heard these albums in a good while, they put out some really great recordings.

Luke, do you mean you didn't like any of the singles or that you just did not include the singles in your list?

It looks like there are more out there discovering just how great these ladies were. Check out Torreano Lamont's Extended Version of The Supremes "Baby Baby" [[from the Right On album):

Marv, I just didn’t include singles. I would pick Touch and Stoned Love and Up the Ladder.

I kinda guessed that. They had some really singles out during those years. I really did like all of them when I think about it now. I liked some more than others, but I definitely liked each single release in the 70s.

True. When you consider some of the later 60s output...the Composer,I’m Livin in Shame, No matter what sign you are...they certainly took a consistent leap of quality in the 70s...Up the Ladder, Stoned Love, Nathan Jones, River Deep...as well as many of the above mentioned album cuts.

Their material in the 70s was not only more complex, it was also decidedly more soulful than "Diana Ross & the Supremes".

This is a tough one which is why i have taken a couple of days to do it. I have used album tracks rather than singles.
Right On - The loving country
New Ways - It's time to break down
Magnificent seven - stone soul picnic
Touch - It's so hard for me to say goodbye
Return of - I'm glad about you
Floy Joy - Now the bitter, now the sweet
    Dynamite - Hello stranger
    Jimmy Webb - 5.30 train.

As regards the Scherrie Payne years

Supremes 75 - Colour my world blue
    High Energy - Title track
MSS - You are the heart of me.

Ask me again tomorrow and i may have to make slight amendments!

This is a very tough one:
[[I've chosen to [generally] ignore the singles)

Right On: Bill when are you coming back

New Ways But Love Stays: It's time to break down [[amazing how many people on here love that track)

    Touch: This is the story
[[I love the energy and the power - it opens this LP so well)

Promises Kept: Nothing springs to mind

Floy Joy: Your wonderful sweet, sweet love

Jimmy Webb: I guess I'll miss the man

    Magnificent 7:
Together we can make such sweet music

The Return Of The Magnificient 7:
What do you have to do to stay on the right side of love

    Dynamite:
    Not sure I have one.

Notable tracks not included on a Supremes LP:
    * Soft days [[I just love this track - it has to be one of my most favourite Supremes ones of all time)
    * May his love shine forever [[I'm not religious - but this is a really classy track)

    baring the singles:
    Then We Can Try Again
Together We Can Make Such Sweet Music
Touch is my fav Jean LP... too hard for one choice...every cut makes this my pers. fav..so its everything that wasn't a single.. except Time and Love...I hate that song by everyone, [[ditto Love The One You're With) but composer Laura Nyro's is tolerable.
    Over and Over
5.30 Plane...not fond of anything other than 5.30 Plane and IGITM...both are among my all time fav./ any grouping cuts....Jean Terrell just nails it and owns it....feeling that way having the one song follow the next on this LP was a great convenience for me. No "Tone Arm hoping" necessary
as for the duet LPS...I didn't give them much play. I was just discovering non top 40 car radio AM rock, and there was too much other stuff I was being newly introduced to and would rather hear at the time...[[Please don't tell Jean she periodically took a back seat to Grace Slick) but loved the beautiful version of cringe worthy over recorded mega pop hit "If"..it was another Terrell showcase and remains the benchmark version for me, Melodie, I Wonder Where We're Going and Knock on My Door

    Not counting singles:

Right On: Bill, When Are You Coming Back
New Ways, But Love Stays: It's Time To Break Down
    Touch: This Is the Story
Promises Kept: Never Can Say Goodbye
Floy Joy: A Heart Like Mine
Produced & Arranged by Jimmy Webb: 5:30 Plane

I haven't listened to The Supremes' albums with the Four Tops enough to have favorite tracks. I do like their cover of "Love the One You're With".

I see You Move Me made a few folks lists...I love Jean, but this one is one of her most "shrill" vocals. I actually like Then I Met You a lot.
I loved Right On...like the '75 LP it was a bit of a mixed bag and I liked the diversity.
