"Here I Go Again", the Miracles

Anyone love this classic Smokey and the Miracles cut as much as me? I think this is my favorite Miracles song.

Yes! "Here I Go Again" is Smokey Robinson & the Miracles at their very best. They certainly were on a great commercial & artistic roll at the time.

My favorite Miracles song. Speaking of background, are there any mixes where the background singers can be heard better. I've always thought they should have been mixed hotter.

I've always hated to have to strain to hear something in a recording.

Thanks for the responses guys! Looks like we're in a minority about how great this song is considering how few responses.

Good question Mr. June. I don't have an answer. I've never heard a mix where the background vocals on this wasn't more than instrumentation. They are kind of buried back there.

Love it. Seems like its on a 45 B side, I can't remember which one.

    The A-Side was "Doggone Right".

I am willing to bet that "Here I Go Again" got a lot of play at those basement parties that took place back in the day.
