Never really been into Jazz-Funk, but when I was checking out some lesser known Motown artists, I came across a group by the name of Dr. Strut... and then fell in love with this absolute JAM!

I had Dr Strut recordings on vinyl. You should check out the Motown group Cook County song "Funky Get It". Also Motown had a jazz group call Flight and they were pretty good.

I’ll check out that group, and that song! Sounds interesting...

Oh yes, I found out about the ‘Flight’ group while researching too... I remember they did a great instrumental version of The Jacksons’ “Shake Your Body [[Down To The Ground”...!!

In fact, I love this track so much, I just spent at least 2 hours faffing around on iTunes trying to set it as my ringtone... at last I did it!!!!! Can’t wait for someone to ring me, heehee
