Photo From 1980: DIANA ROSS - At STUDIO 54

Nothing new here--but just in case you've never seen it before:

This photo taken in 1980 is currently appearing in the Sept. 2017 issue of Vanity Fair magazine, heralding the publication of the new book STUDIO 54 by Ian Schrager, co-founder/co-owner of the club with the late Steve Rubell; foreward by Bob Colacello. The magazine notes that Diana was singing COME SEE ABOUT ME as she was atop the desk of the d.j. booth.

Nice shot. There's another nice one, maybe taken at the same time, of Diana and Liza Minnelli in the booth.

I remember both pics! But I seem to recall [[as well as I can recall anything from 54 days) that Diana was featuring 'The Boss'. But she may have been there more than once. Remember the rollerskating in the street pics?! OMG!

Is Schrager's book a memoir or more of a coffee-table affair?
