    The Sweet Three

Does anybody know anything about a group called The Sweet Three? There was a 45 on Decca, I believe produced by Leon Huff, called "The Way It Is." I'm not sure of the year. Has the song ever been on a compilation?

    Hi Mike_Sku

This would be the same group who did "I Would If I Could" .. which was very in-demand for a while in Britain .. here it is on YouTube ..

Apart from that I know nothing about the group.

It's available on the East Coast Girls compilation. It also has several other songs of the girls. Looks like a good CD!

I know I have a couple Sweet Three records on other labels. I think that one is on Cameo from 1965 or 1966.

The song Mike is asking about is "That's How It Is [[When You're In Love)", and it came out on Decca, before the Cameo single. The other side of the record is a nice Northern tune, "Big Lovers Come In Small Packages"...I had this but traded it off like a fool.

    Best,
