Great interview Marv. Thanks for sharing.
She has given this same interview a thousand times. Guess there is not much else for her to say.
Thanks Marv! Hope the concert goes well for for Mary. Still in demand.

Sounds like Mary is at some resolve with the way her career continued post THE SUPREMES [[with capitals) .‘Even though we had some great singers, I had in with me Jean Terrell, who did all of the ’70s hits, and Cindy Birdsong, they were great singers, but the original three, we were The Group,’ you can hear the capitals, ‘like The Beatles, you know? Anyone who comes in later, it’s wonderful, but it’s just not the same feeling we had as those young girls when we were starting out.’

I think her perspective is right , how can anything top the fairy-tale story of teenage friends from the projects, through sheer will and determination, winding up as the biggest, best known female singing group in America .
She mentions that complete album. I assume that is the HDH album. I so hope it gets issued. Surely some of you guys here have heard it all by now.
Great that Mary has recorded and has tried to get these songs out! Let's support her efforts rather than making fun of them.
Not many singers that started in the late 50s can still do this!
Wow that was great - never seen it before - thanks!
Everyone its Mary Wilson !!!
We know and love her !!!
Knowing how Flo felt about Mary and Diana is how I understand the Supremes.
