Snakepit - loved the show, thanks for reminding me of those great Motown tracks forgot how good Chris Clarkes 'I Just Can't Forget Him' is. Where do you get all this great music from?

    McMotown,
    Thanks for response.
I've been collecting a long time, and doing the show gives me the chance to play these tracks.
The Northern Soul scene, and it's various styles over the years had unearthed 1,000s of great tracks. It's great to play stuff for collectors ...and introduce them to fabulous records....due to age, lots of this music will lost forever soon, and I sincerely hope that others carry it forward.

Great show, snakepit! I forgot how good that Isleys track is. I didn't forget how fantastic that Jimmy Ruffin one is though... damn I love that song!!!

That Chuck Jackson song was also very nice... that Van McCoy sound is there and it's not even from the mid-'70s! Love it

Snakepit you do an excellent with you song selection. Do you think you might ever have a special listener's request show where we all give you a song that we have not heard in a long time and you add it to your weekly show?
