This is one of the best, most excellent recordings to come out of Motown! [[in my opinion). The performance here also ranks as one of the best I ever seen of a Motown act or any other music act on television. Everything just seem to work so well with this one. The background harmonies were superb Gladys' emotional lead vocal makes this one a bona fide classic that I can listen over and over still today.

Man, I cannot get enough of the high steppin', harmonizing and always sharp Pips! To me, they made Gladys that much better! She had to sing over, through, and around the Pips. They were the best, and to me, Gladys doesn't sound the same without them.

They were so polished, so synchronized and so soulful! They were simply the best which is why their careers lasted so long. Their music still sounds good today.

Sister exactly! I couldn't remember who wrote it while listening to it, but when Gladys says...."Now you come to me" sounds like something Ashford and Simpson would write. Good song, great song with lyrics that everyone should be able to relate to.

Love "Didn't You Know"....got a bunch of the first CD's issued by Motown "Command Performance" series releases since at the time the market was new and I thought that may be all for Motown back catalogue

About Love and Touch are both quality albums, the former especially so. Diana's version of "Didn't You Know" is also quality. Quality all round.

I think one of the reasons it is so good is because almost everyone can relate to the lyrics. The singing is just amazing to me.
