When I heard this, I told someone that Chuck Berry and Little Richard are THE foundation of rock. Chuck brought the guitars, blues chords, and soul that made rock 'n roll transition to rock and Richard brought the attitude that still defines the genre. Chuck Berry is, and will always be, one of my heroes. My prayers go out to his loved ones.
