You've got me cracking up, but you DERSERVE IT!!!!!!!

  5. #6805
Not gonna lie and say that I didn't think this game was over when Mooney dropped that ball. And then, the interception that gave them the ball on our side of the field...

I'm going to sleep easy tonight if I can sleep at all.

  6. #6806
Heck of an ending, sleep well my friend!!!!!!!

  7. #6807
It's very rare that I will watch a Thursday Night game to the end without immediately going to sleep however, I'm about to give your Dirty Bird props... despite the missteps, THAT was one of the most exciting games I've seen this season, so far!!!!

  8. #6808
YOWSA!!!!!!!! 509yds for Cousins!!!! And OT!!! At least a Thursday game didn't disappoint!! Congrats Jerry!!!!!

We're going to learn a lot about each of your teams on Sunday night. I can't lie and say that I'm not kind of hoping Pittsburgh wins, but just because I want the Justin Fields redemption arc to continue. Normally, I'd be rooting against them so I wouldn't have to look at my brother's smug smirk during a good season. Since it's a night game, he might actually make it to church this week, so we'll see.

  11. #6811
I feel ya on Fields Jerry Oz. If he wasn't playing against us Sunday Night, I'd be pulling for him too. I also love that foine coach, and my dear friend Moe....but those Terrible Towels, hopefully will get blown away by my Boyz. Heck, it doesn't even need to be a blow out. A simple WIN will do!!!!!

I have a busy weekend starting very shortly but will see you guys Sunday.

  12. #6812
You've had a great football week Jerry Oz. Congrats!!!

  13. #6813
Thanks. This is the first week this season where both of my wayward teams managed to win. Looks like the other message boards I frequent will be finding something else to complain about for the next seven days. I'm really missing Jai. The WC are playing lights out and have their QB of the future and he hasn't checked in. I can't lie and say that I'm not worried about him.

  14. #6814
"I can't lie and say that I'm not worried about him."

Same here. Hope all is well and he returns soon!!!!!

  15. #6815
Add me to the list, guys. He's taken sabbaticals before but not really during football season.
Congrats, Jerry, you have had a great week!!
Wild games today!! And your Dolphins beat the Pats......YES!!!
And.......Here We Go Ms M!!! Hope I last!!

  16. #6816
    I'm tired but excited!
I usually don't buy premium vodka but a friend, who is also a die-hard Boyz fan gifted me a bottle of Tito's. Yoohoo!!!! I also put a pot of coffee on just in case. LOL

    Let's go Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. #6817
Twiddling my thumbs and bored with the commentary. Can't imagine what our respective teams are going through.

  18. #6818
It's going to be a loooooooong night. Glad I put on the coffee.

  19. #6819
I'm probably the only one still hanging in there but it's cool. However if anyone saw it, I really liked the Celine Dion "bit."

  20. #6820
Geeze, it's finally time for SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!

  21. #6821
    Gotta love Aubrey...if you're a Boyz fan.

  22. #6822
    As I said above....LOL
I'll take the points however we can get 'em. D looking pretty good tonight. Go Boyz!!!!

  23. #6823
    Ouch! [turnover]

  24. #6824
    Damn sam!!!!!!

  25. #6825
I'm sleepy and not particular happy. Suddenly we're playing like crap.
    Get it together Boyz!

  26. #6826
    Finally....TOUCHDOWN

  27. #6827
Dallas goes up by 3. Wouldn't it be something if this goes to overtime after an hour and a half delay?

  28. #6828
I hope not. I can barely keep my eyes open and the turnovers are pissing me off!

  29. #6829
Can't say that word...insert scream here!

  30. #6830
    What the heck was that???

  31. #6831
Be still my heart. Don't mess this up Boyz.

  32. #6832
You have got to be kidding me.

  33. #6833
    boom!!!!!!!

  34. #6834

  35. #6835

  36. #6836
This was crazy but of course I'll take the win. LOL

  37. #6837
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....I was too tired to look for any memes or gifs. THANKS

  38. #6838
Congrats, Ms. M. Sorry, Moe. It wound up being an ugly [but very competitive] game and there are a lot of people going to bed angry tonight. And a lot who are happy. Ms. M, now you know how I felt on Thursday night.

  39. #6839
    I'm out. Good night...morning!

  40. #6840
I do, and the irony didn't escape me!

  41. #6841
You know there are going to be some people being called into HR tomorrow morning. Every place that I worked had more Pittsburgh and Dallas fans than any other team and a lot of them lost some money just now. Add that to the loss of sleep for staying up until 1:00 AM and that's a recipe for trouble.

  42. #6842
The irony, NOW, I can't sleep. LOL

Fortunately, I don't have to work today which is a good thing since I usually get up between 4 and 5am!!!!

  43. #6843
Ugh........that delay just about killed me!! Too many missed opportunities for the Steelers. And Prescott showed why he can lead a team in the last minutes to win........which is something the Steelers NEED to do. I'll say it again......the problem with the Steelers is that they relied on Big Ben too long & did not prepare for another franchise QB sooner than later. Congrats to you!!!

  44. #6844
Good morning Peeps and thanks Moe. Can't believe you took this all the way back to Big Ben. That's funny.

This game could have gone either way Moe and although Dak helped pull it out for a win at the very [and I do mean very] end, he also made several horrific missteps. Bottom line, both teams should have, could have done better. I'm just glad skill plus LUCK gave us the win.

I'll reserve judgement on your QB situation for now, but I think Fields has a bright future with the Steelers. Time will tell.

Wow, the press is being hard on Fields. Although I will admit the inconsistent side of him raised its ugly head, I think it's too early to count him out. shrugs

  46. #6846
Morning Ms M. I initially forgot this: if George Pickens wants to stay in the NFL he has to grow up to play a professional game. Last year he was warned about his professionalism/maturity. What he did was uncalled for. Jerry, am I right that the OC Smith likes to pass to the tight ends?

So, is Justin Fields a "franchise QB?"

  47. #6847
To be honest, Pickens wasn't on my radar until last night. Didn't realize he had a history of this sort of behavior.

Not ready to place a franchise tag on Fields but like Jerry, I have a soft spot for the kid. He's had a raw deal since coming into the league imo. In the beginning the press harped on his seizures [which it's my understanding are under control with meds] and cost him to drop in the draft. He seems to have gotten an even more raw deal from there, which is unfortunate because he's a smart kid.

I'd also like to add, I think Tomlin and the Steelers are a good fit. Again, time will tell.

Fields can't make all of the throws and lacks touch when placement needs to be just right. With that being said, I saw a few drops last night that could have shifted the course of the game toward the Steelers. At this point, the team knows whether Russ is better than him from the way that they practice, so if Russ gets in, I'd expect either improvement or roster discontent to rear its ugly head.

I'm still thinking about that sideline shot of CeeDee Lamb cussing out Dak. That wasn't a good look for two guys who are collecting $90 million per season between them. Yeah, Dak had a mediocre game, but I don't recall Lamb running wide open when the ball went to other receivers, so he wasn't exactly a world beater himself. Hopefully, that gets worked out between them.

  49. #6849
Even without the money it was a bad look but it seems it might turn into a thing. Some player with the Jags had to be held back from going after Trevor Lawrence too.

As I've stated earlier, Dak pissed me off last night...heck they all pissed me off up until the win. LOL

The only person I wasn't upset with was McCarthy [he deserved the game ball] and Martin. When Zack went down it scared the heck out of me. Fortunately it was only cramps.

I will give Dak props in the way he handled the CD dust up though. His character was truly on display in that situation. Or did I miss something that you saw Jerry Oz?
