    Huh...

I thought the Steelers were playing Cincinnati today but they showed a video of the '70s Steel Curtain playing a bunch of little leaguers in Bengals uniforms. Was the game postponed?

  2. #6452
    HAHAHAHHA!!!

    Thanks Ms M.......

    Run Rudolph, Run!!!!!

  3. #6453
The funny part about yesterday is that I didn't see the Steelers game. Yes, it was a national broadcast. But, when we sat down to watch it the station hasn't reached a contract with Direct TV to broadcast anything so the screen was blank. I saw 15 minutes of the end of it this morning, but will pick up the replay on NFL Network. This is the second time this year that this has happened to us.

  4. #6454
They didn't have a set of rabbit ears?

  5. #6455
Congrats on THAT game Jerry however...

  6. #6456
I'm sitting here, looking at the clock... Just waiting...

  7. #6457
Considering this isn't a home game, if I wasn't drinking Tito's I'd be doing the same but that stuff is too expensive to spill. HAHAHAHA

    Yeaaaah, here we gooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. #6458
    Good luck you two!

  9. #6459
    And... Just like that...

Crap. I really really REALLY wanted to get a score at the start of the half.

  12. #6462

  13. #6463
Lawd love a duck, don't know if my heart can take this!!!!

  14. #6464
I'm with you, Sis. If we're missing from this thread after today, we need to tell Ralph where to send the flowers.

  15. #6465
DAMN...But mad respect for your Fins Jerry. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. #6466
Oh my. Oh my. Oh my oh my oh my.

What a freaking game. Glad to take the win, but sorry it happened to your Boyz, Ms. M.

  17. #6467
But we're both in so I'm cool with this one!

  18. #6468
HOWEVER....don't get it twisted Ralph, you're coming to our house next week. Beware!!!!!!!

  19. #6469
That's going to be a good game. Miami's playing Baltimore in a game that will decide the top seed in the AFC. And Atlanta, which lost to 3 of the 4 worst teams in the league [combined records 9-36] has to win both games and hope for help. Had we beat them, we would be 10-5 right now instead of 7-8. More of the same headaches for the fans.

  20. #6470
Congrats Jerry! And sorry Ms M. But no need to worry about the playoffs either one of you.

  21. #6471
    Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays Everyone!!!!!

    It's all good Moe.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't like losing but knowing our ticket was punched even before the loss to the Bills has eased the sting of quite a few things.

It's been a heck of a football season though, one of the best I can remember in a while and I'm sure there are even more surprises and more excitement to come.

  22. #6472
    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!
We were out of town yesterday & at least watched the game. That kicker for Miami deserves a pat on the back for his great efforts!!!!
I wish everyone Peace & happiness

And so we have some games today......yipee!

And congratulations Ralph. The Lions did it......Divisional Champs!!!

I hope everyne enjoys their day!!!!

  23. #6473
Merry Christmas, SDF family. I'm praying that the day will be much more for you than you thought and that the many that are yet to come will be even better.

  24. #6474
Jerry, it got a bit better with Kansas City losing to the Raiders!!!!!!! I'm seriously hoping that for the first time in a while KC doesn't seem to have home field advantage in the playoffs. Aww..........

  25. #6475
Well Well, the Ravens beat the 49ers.....Brock Purdy was intercepted 4 times [I thought Purdy was "the future"]. Congrats to them.

    Maybe they're one to beat.......

  26. #6476
I'm settling in for a week of hearing about why the Dolphins will lose this weekend against Baltimore. I might beg to differ, but we'll see. We're banged up but I'm hoping we get a few of our wounded back for the game.

  27. #6477
Kyle has to shoulder the majority of the responsibility for that loss ESPECIALLY when he realized his qb was frazzled....heck I saw it in Purdy's face after the first pick!!!!
    So to the Niners, hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McDaniel may have been under Kyle but I personally think overall, he's a better coach and WILL BE better prepared!

You took my words Ms M!!!!! I agree I saw the very same thing in Purdy!!!!!!!
I'm so sick of the fact Purdy is the second coming of Christ!! He has to go VERY far to become an equal to Tom Brady!

I think McDaniel is probably very happy the Ravens did that the week before we play. We'll play them on a short week and have a chance to dissect what they did to the Niners last night in order to [hopefully] counter it.

  30. #6480
Some good games this weekend! Ms M you play the Lions & the game you've mentioned above, Jerry: Miami & the Ravens..

And the Steelers play Seattle, with Mason Rudolph probably going to start.

  31. #6481
Looks like the loser of Seattle vs Pittsburgh will be eliminated. So that's going to be important to both teams.

  32. #6482
Have to say Cleveland didn't look too bad [enter Joe Flacco, who is to hit 39 soon] in the Thursday game. And Trevor Lawrence out.

  33. #6483
Although Cleveland won I personally felt I was watching the Keystone Cops playing each other.....just my take. Shrugs

Nervous and anxious for tonight but we shall see, what we shall see!!!!!

  34. #6484
??! Did they flex the Cowboys vs Lions? I thought the Vikings and Packers were playing tonight.

  35. #6485
    Good luck Ms M!

  36. #6486
Thanks Moe, it will be interesting!!!!

  37. #6487
Oof. Just switched over from a college hoops game in time to see Dak throw up a floater that was intercepted. He's going to need to be the best player for Dallas to win tonight.

  38. #6488
Great throw to Lamb from Dak [after escaping a safety]. If the field was 200 yards insead of 100, he'd still be running. Now we have a game.

  39. #6489
Boyz are up late in a tough game punctuated with great explosive plays by both teams.

  40. #6490
Wow! Ralph and Ms. M must be chugging the Maalox right now. Detroit scores and is going for two.

  41. #6491
And there's a penalty!!!! Illegal touching by a lineman!!!

  42. #6492
And another penalty!! Micah came across the line early!

  43. #6493
And a bad pass by Goff ends it, folks!

  44. #6494
I KNEW this would be an interesting game. LOL

  45. #6495
Uh-oh... The lineman DID report to the official, who ignored him and then called a penalty. That...

...ain't right, y'all. Detroit got cheated.

  46. #6496
I gotta watch this one again.........SMH......what is it with these refs this year?

    Congrats, Ms M!!!

  47. #6497
    We wuz robbed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  48. #6498
Congrats, Ms. M. Hope I join you in the winner's circle today. Twice.

From your lips to God's ears, Ralph. You'd think that when the NFL established ties with legalized betting outlets, they'd move heaven and earth to make sure the officiating wasn't costing bettors millions on every nationally televised game. But clearly, they don't expect people to accuse them and the officials of fixing outcomes.

But I do. At this point, they're either corrupt or just bad at their job.
